My aim is Sarasota at the west coast of Florida directly at the Gulf of Mexico. Deserted beaches with the most beautiful sand invite for walking and swimming. But the main reason I've come to this place is my motorcycle. |
A FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide is waiting for
me in my garage.
I arrive in Sarasota at 08:45 pm. Leaving the airport building a warm wind welcomes me. Reaching my house I straight go to the garage. There it stands in its total magnificance, the work of art made of steel. I go to bed early. The very next morning I've a tour on program to the keys on offshore. The sunny morning is there and my bike starts immediatly. The tour can begin. I'll never forget this felling - you come out of the cold and one day later you're sitting on this baby. Your feel the warm wind on your skin and the sun loads you with energy and thirst for adventure. You lean back and dedicate to the unchangable sound - you're in another world. From Sarasota the most popular trips are being reached easily with a Harley like the Everglades, Disney World, Key West, Bike Week or Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach - simply seeing Florida by its most beautiful sides on a saddle of a Harley-Davidson!
